Alloy Posts Loss in Quarter

Alloy Inc. reported a net loss of $6.8 million for the third quarter ended Oct. 31, down from net income of $11.6 million last year.

The teenage apparel direct marketer reported revenue of $105.8 million for the quarter ended Oct. 31, up from $93 million last year.

The New York based firm attributed these results to the company’s recent acquisition of Delia’s, which offset an overall declines in he company’s catalogs.
