AEIS Hires GM for New Consumer Promotions Group

American Express Incentive Services has named David Terry as general manager of the new consumer promotions group.

He will be responsible for the overall strategic direction of growing the stored-value card business in the consumer marketplace. The post took effect Jan. 3.

“Consumers are requesting their rewards on plastic more than ever before,” Terry said in a statement. “The most significant growth potential in the consumer arena includes the conversion of rebate dollars, reward-with purchase and loyalty incentives.”

Most recently, Terry worked for Kobie Marketing, a consumer loyalty agency, as chief strategist.
