Advo Inc., the Windsor, CT-based shared-mail firm, reported income of $10.5 million on revenue of $338.8 million during its second quarter, compared with $11.5 million in income and $304.3 million in revenue during second quarter 2004. The quarter ended March 25.
The most current quarter’s results include additional distribution expenses related to the company’s expanded distribution in Southern California. The expansion program mailed nearly 659 million pieces, within more than 132 million packages, in the market.
When the revenue from the California packages was added into the firm’s results, every thousand pieces generated $37.74, an uptick from second quarter 2004’s level.
