Advertising Specialty Institute Names Tim Andrews as President

The Advertising Specialty Institute has named Tim Andrews, the former CEO of Primedia Business Magazines & Media, as its new president. Andrews will oversee the continued growth and success of the over 50-year old company.

Andrews will replace Marvin Spike who is semi-retired.

ASI publishes magazines, catalogs, directories, software and other business resources that facilitate the success of their 20,000 member companies. ASI serves the $16 billion per year promotional products industry by providing resources for suppliers and distributors.

The announcement marks the first time the Trevose, PA-based company has named a new president in more than 35 years, the company said. It searched for a year before naming Andrews.
