Pepsi’s Super Social Bowl Marketing

Big brands like Pepsi, Marriott and Amazon are all pushing for a marketing touchdown at the Super Bowl this Sunday.

Pepsi is upping its social marketing game in a big way. In addition social media footballto its traditional game-time commercials, it will have firsts on Snapchat and twitter as the first brand to sponsor a Twitter Promoted Moment for the game. And, it will weave in numerous other social marketing plays, as this article from Digiday explains.

It’s about layering content and marketing elements, all with an element of surprise. Pepsi’s digital marketing director, Linda Lagos, shares some of the plans, but keeps plenty of secrets for the Big Game.
