Wendy’s Names Kershisnik to Marketing Strategy Post

Wendy’s has named Paul Kershisnik as senior vice president of marketing strategy and innovation, a new post.

In his new role, Kershisnik is in charge of the newly expanded innovation and strategy group in the marketing division. That group oversees research and development, strategy insights and operations innovation with a goal to create supporting marketing strategies for Wendy’s, the company said.

Kershisnik recently worked as vice president of new product innovations and R&D for Mrs. Fields Famous Brands in Salt Lake City. He previously held positions at Pizza Hut/PepsiCo, General Mills and Sprint.

Kershisnik will report to Ian Rowden, Wendy’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer.
