ValueClick Inc. has acquired online advertising services and technologies firm Fastclick Inc.
Fastclick services include an advertising network of more than 9,000 third-party Web sites that reaches over 112 million unique U.S. Internet users In the transaction, each outstanding share of Fastclick common stock will be exchanged for 0.7928 of a share of ValueClick common stock.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
