UPS Leveraging Racing Stripes in Single Sweepstakes

UPS is playing both sides of its racing partnerships, with stock cars and horses, in a sweepstakes offering the winner two days at the races.

The “Off to the Races Delivered by UPS” sweepstakes runs through April 10, with the winner and a guest going to the Aaron’s 499 at the Talladega Superspeedway on Apr. 27 in Talladega, AL. The trip includes a meet and greet with No. 44 UPS Toyota Camry driver David Reutimann.

The following week on May 3, the winner and guest go to Churchill Downs for the 134th running of the Kentucky Derby.

Reutimann will appear at the famed horse racing track with teammate Dale Jarrett and car owner Michael Waltrip as part of the sweepstakes program.

“It’s exciting for us to create a link between our NASCAR racing and horse sponsorships,” said Ron Rogowski, UPS director of sponsorships, in a statement.

UPS has been NASCAR’s “Official Delivery Company” since 2000 and forged a relationship with the National Thoroughbred Racing Association two years ago.

Registration for the sweepstakes is online at www. racing.ups.com.
