After a successful test in Ohio, Technical Consumer Products Inc. (TCP) is set to go national with its first direct effort to consumers under its own name for Fresh2, an odor-eliminating light bulb.
DRTV and radio spots were used in the campaign, which ran from Jan. 12 to May 15. With the assistance of Communications Factory, a Mantua, OH advertising agency, TCP chose Toledo, OH as the test market because of the city’s track record in gauging the success of new products and its broad demographics.
