Taco Bell has dubbed a Florida man as its El Presidente, giving one consumer $93,000 in sweepstakes winnings and a chance to tour its company headquarters.

The QSR named Geoff Keenan, a 22-year-old electrical tester from Bartlow, FL, El Presidente of Taco Bell. The coveted title gets Keenan into Taco Bell’s headquarters, where he will sit in on staff meetings and sample some of the QSR’s new products.

In addition to the title, Keenan gets a three-day trip to visit Taco Bell’s corporate headquarters in Irvine, CA, 1 million pesos ($93,000 U.S. dollars) a year’s supply of Taco Bell food and $500 in spending money.

Keenan was selected from millions of customers who entered the online promotion (PROMO Xtra, April 14, 2006). The promotion was tied to a partnership with Pepsi to promote the new Mountain Dew Baja Blasts drink, a combination of Mountain Dew with tropical lime. Consumers entered codes from large or extra-large Baja Blast cups online to BecomeElPresidente.com.

The sweepstakes will also award hundreds of instant-win prizes of 100 pesos to 10,000 pesos. Prizes ranged from $9.39 to $939 U.S. dollars.
