Revlon Signs Two Film Stars as New Faces for the Brand

Revlon has signed two Hollywood stars to represent the brand: Jessica Alba and Beau Garrett.

Alba will be featured in a global advertising campaign for the new Revlon 3D Extreme Mascara. The effort includes TV, print, in-store and internet placements. The first spots will begin airing in July. Print ads debut in August.

Alba co-starred in “SinCity,” and as the female lead role in Marvel Comics’ action-franchise blockbuster “Fantastic Four.”

“She is both a dynamic and beautiful woman who represents the modern, glamorous spirit of the brand,” said Elizabeth Crystal, senior vice president of color cosmetics, in a statement.

Garrett, a California girl, will represent the brand for various products to be released in 2008.

Garrett recently made her film debut in Fox thriller “Turistas”, in December 2006. She has also finished work on two independent films, “Live!” which stars Eva Mendes and the horror film “Unearthed.”

Both Alba and Garrett will participate in the annual Revlon Run/Walk next month and will be involved with various company sponsored breast cancer initiatives.

Alba and Garrett join a glamorous list of women who represent the brand, including Academy Award Winning actress Halle Berry, model and actress Eva Mendes and Sheryl Crow, one of the music industry’s biggest stars.
