Regal Entertainment and Theater Advertising Solutions LLC have inked a multi-year deal to distribute branded concession carry trays.
The MovieTray will roll out this summer in all U.S. theaters in the Regal circuit, including Regal Cinemas, United Artists Theaters and Edwards Theaters.
Discussions are underway with potential advertisers, the companies said.
Carry trays are new to Regal and will be used by moviegoers to carry consession stand items. In addition to brand signage and ad messages, the trays can carry promotional premiums.
Real operates 6,264 screens in 553 locations in 40 states.
Theater Advertising Solutions is based in Kennesaw, GA.
