Since Warner Bros. has done scant promotion for its low-key little art film “Batman & Robin,” we thought we’d help them out with this little bit of public relations.
The Warner Bros. Studio Store catalog is offering what surely will become a hot collectible for movie and beverage fans alike: an authentic bottle of Mr. Freeze’s melted ice.
The beverage – assumably suitable for drinking or dousing pesky super-heroes – is touted as a “catalog-only” premium for shoppers who purchase any two “Batman & Robin” T-shirts. (Bottles were spotted for sale in a Warner retail store, however.)
Think about it. The idea of someone purchasing $40 worth of T-shirts just to get a bottle of water – sorry, melted ice – has a perverse stroke of brilliance to it. But then again, if you are a serious collector, you do need to have every variation of bottled East Coast H[SUPERSCRIPT 2]O available.
Personally, we’d prefer a case of Poison Ivy.
