Jay Frank, senior VP of Chicago-based PerformanceData, will retire March 31, after 26 years of service. He will be replaced by Jan Davis, PerformanceData’s group vice president and general manager. Davis will assume the title of executive vice president upon her promotion.

As executive vice president, Davis will be responsible for the PerformanceData group, as well as Trans Union’s Insurance Division. Her new duties will include overseeing sales of online and batch credit reports for underwriting purposes to the insurance industry, as well as mailing lists for insurance solicitation offers.

Davis has been with PerformanceData, formerly Trans Union Lists, for three years. Previously she had been a marketing consultant in Warsaw, Poland. Before then she was vice president, new ventures, for Customer Development Corp., Peoria, IL.

As part of the transition process, the insurance division will be moving out of its current offices at 555 West Adams street, and will join PD at 120 South Riverside Plaza. Trans Union’s corporate headquarters will remain at 555 West Adams street.

John Wold, who was hired late in 1998 as vice president, general manager for the insurance division, will report directly to Davis.
