Octagon Hires Two, Promotes One

Octagon has hired Anne Sullivan as vice president to head the Clearwire account team.

She joins Octagon from Alcone Marketing where she worked as senior vice president managing the Unilever HPC/Best Foods, Pernod Ricard, McCormick and Georgia Pacific accounts. She has also worked for Ryan Partnership with such clients as MasterCard and Nabisco, TLP and Ketchum.

The agency has also hired William Corbin as vice president to lead Octagon’s interactive initiatives.

Most recently, Corbin was the interim CEO for RestaurantRow.com where he was responsible for sales and marketing strategy, including web-based marketing. He has also worked as partner and president of Katie Brown, Inc. where he managed all operations including product development, merchandising, inventory and marketing and e-commerce programs including broadband video. For two years, Corbin worked as vice president of interactive for A&E Television. He is also a former producer for CBS News and News Corp.

In a related development, Octagon has promoted Jeff Ehrenkranz to executive vice president, Marketing Americas division. Since the fall of 2008, Ehrenkranz has headed the unit’s Marketing Solutions group which includes events and hospitality, music and entertainment, multicultural marketing, promotions, municipal marketing, merchandising and creative and interactive services.
