BARNES & NOBLE: and Court TV has teamed up to promote the network’s new primetime series, America’s Crime Writers: Murder They Wrote. Under the partnership, Court TV will air TV spots directing viewers to Barnes & Noble and BarnesandNoble.com to learn about the authors and their books and have presence in more than 575 Barnes & Noble stores nationwide. The bookstore chain will promote the series and authors’ books in its stores with custom end caps and highlight the series on its Web site, in subscriber newsletters and e-mails. The new series premieres on Court TV in the fourth quarter of 2006.

CORNERSTONE: has launched a new music supervision department. Under the division, the department can locate songs across all genres to complement video games, films or commercials. In recent months, Cornerstone, New York, has handled music projects for Nike, Coca-Cola Co., Apple and video game manufacturer THQ.

WORLD MARKETING: Dallas, has added a strategic services group to the direct-marketing agency. Connie Hall leads the new division as VP-strategic consulting services; she had been VP-group account director. World Marketing clients include American Airlines, Kraft Foods, Bloomingdales, Omaha Steaks, E*Trade and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
