AQUAFINA and SKECHERS: have joined others in a marketing partnership with Boardfest, a sports and music festival for girls. Skechers will sponsor the stage and entertainment center and will host a sampling center and outfit staffers. AquaFina will host kiosks and a misting tent, as well as hand out samples of AquaFina Alive, its newest product. The fourth annual Boardfest will be held in Huntington Beach, CA, Sept. 1-3.
VIRGIN ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, NORTH AMERICA: is celebrating New York City’s Gay Pride Week with a series of in-store events. On Monday, Erasure will sign copies of their latest CD at the Times Square Megastore. On Tuesday, actress Patricia Charbonneau and director Donna Deitch will sign DVD copies of the film “Desert Hearts” at the Union Square store. And on Saturday, June 23, live in-store performances will be held at the Union Square location.
