Coldwater Creek has named Frank Lesher to its board of directors. Lesher, a retired Sony executive, has a background in legal, government, trade affairs and corporate safety. He most recently served as Sony’s executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of the board before retiring in 2004.
With Lesher’s appointment, six of the eight seats on Coldwater Creek’s board are now held by independent directors. Coldwater Creek is a multi-channel marketer of women’s apparel, jewelry and gifts.
