National Media Quarterly Losses Nearly Triple

National Media Corp., the infomercial producer and electronic marketer based in Los Angeles, reported a net loss of $21.9 million for the quarter ended Dec. 31, nearly tripling the company’s net loss of $8.1 million for the same period the year before.

Net revenue for the quarter was $83.2 million, a 28% increase over $64.9 million for the three months ended December 31,1997

For the nine months ended Dec. 31, National Media reported a net loss of $34.1 million, slightly down from a net loss of $35.5 million for the same period of 1997

Net revenue for the nine months ended Dec. 31 was $253 million a 36% increase over $186.6 million for the nine months ended Dec. 31, 1997
