Move over Monopoly. McDonald’s has a new Halloween-themed, collect-and-win game, Trick. Treat. Win. starting this Friday with the chance to win the big $50,000 prize.
There are two ways to win, instantly by peeling game pieces on certain McDonald’s packaging or by using the McDonald’s app to collect entry tokens from game pieces to enter the any of the 27 daily sweepstakes for a chance to win a new prize each day.
Three types of game pieces can be collected—instant-win food prizes, instant win non-food prizes and sweepstakes tokens. Scannable bar codes on the game pieces can be scanned with the app or entered at the “Trick. Treat. Win” website. There will be about 577 million collect-and-win game pieces in play.

A variety of menu items carry the games pieces, including medium Hot McCafes, fountain beverages or iced tea, Filet-O-Fish sandwich, Quarter Pounder with cheese, 10 piece McNuggets, and McMuffin sandwiches, among others. Consumers can boost their game piece collections by ordering 20 piece McNuggets and large fries for two game pieces. Or, players can use the code 20FREETOKENS for 20 tokens that can be used toward the daily sweepstakes and/or the final drawing.
In addition to the $50,000 grand prize, prizes include menu items, movie tickets, Roku TVs, gift cards, even a beach vacation and a car.
