MessageMedia Inc., Boulder, CO, has signed an agreement to acquire Decisive Technology, Mountain View, CA, a provider of e-survey services to technology and Internet companies.
The sale price is expected to be $50 million. Closing is subject to certain conditions, including approval of Decisive Technology’s shareholders, and is expected to occur next month.
MessageMedia also announced revenue of $1.3 million for the quarter ended June 30. This represents an increase of 498% over revenue of $217,625 for the same quarter of last year, and a 73% increase over the prior quarter of 1999.
Net loss for the second quarter of 1999 was $6.15 million. This compares with a net loss of $4.02 million for the second quarter of 1998.
MessageMedia provides e-mail-based customer-relationship management and direct marketing services.
