MeritDirect, New Canaan, CT, has named two partners and 10 employees to its newly launched direct marketing firm including nine employees from Direct Media Inc., and two from the Lake Group.
Rob Sanchez has been named partner and vice president of interactive and list management. Sanchez formerly worked at the Lake Group, Rye, NY, where he led the interactive services division.
Also named to the interactive division as account executive was Christopher Bluhm. Previously Bluhm worked for the Lake Group as a sales associate with the interactive services division.
Linda Pickering joined the firm as partner and will lead MeritDirect’s Chicago branch office in Park Ridge, IL. Joining Pickering are Bonnie Zurek and Justin Denhard. All three formerly worked in Direct Media’s Chicago office.
Also named to the list brokerage division were Toula Maragevias, Robin Dellamura, Kurt Kelly, Vickie Vallender, who will report to partner Paulette Scholtman. In addition Sandy Minor and Erin Devin have also joined the list brokerage division and will report to Chairman Mark Joyce. All of the newly appointed employees previously worked for Direct Media.
Joanne Taylor, has joined MeritDirect’s administrative and accounting group, reporting to David Palmer. Taylor formerly served Direct Media as head of database billing.
Last week, the firm named seven partners, all former Direct Media employees. Ralph Drybrough, founder of MeritDirect, left the employ of Direct Media in December as the firm’s senior vice president of business list services.
Temporarily based in New Canaan, CT, the firm has signed its lease and is expected to move to its permanent 18,000-square-foot headquarters at One Stamford Plaza, Stamford, CT, on Feb. 15.
