Martha Stewart Relaunches Web Site

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc. unveiled a new flagship Web site. The new outlet offers content from several of the company’s magazines, as well as her television show. It also features a revamped search figure.

The core of the site (www.marthastewart.com) is articles culled from the company’s Martha Stewart Living, Everyday Food, Blueprint, Martha Stewart Weddings and body + soul magazines. Fans can also access more than 700 video and audio clips, full episodes of the Martha Stewart television program, and more than 5,000 recipes.

The site will also offer original content, including instructional cooking videos, interactive polls and message boards.

Not all the innovations are content-related. The new site features a faster and more intuitive search function that allows users to brows and navigate by content category, such as food, entertaining, home and decorating, or by media, whether television, magazine or radio. Recipe searches will allow visitors to query based on ingredient, course or holiday.
