LendingTree, Inc., has launched two new TV spots directing people to its Web site (www.lendingtree.com). They are part of an ongoing $15 million campaign that also includes radio.
The 30-second spots, highlighting home equity loans, began running today on cable networks, and will alternate with 15-second versions. They were created by Wenham, NC-based Mullen and directed by Kinka Usher.
Launched last year, the overall campaign has helped LendingTree reduce its customer cost to $22 per loan request from $93 last year.
“During the second quarter of this year, we received more than $10 contributed margin on every transmitted loan request,” said Tom Reddin, president of LendingTree, in a statement.
The firm also does some direct mail, totaling under one million pieces a year.
