Kraft Serves Up Ethnic Plans

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Kraft Foods, Glenview, IL, has promoted Jill Rahman to director of ethnic marketing and external relations. She succeeds Boris Oglesby, who was recently promoted to category business director of dinners in Kraft’s New Meals Division.

Rahman had been senior brand manager for Kraft Foods Equity initiative – the company’s $50 million integrated marketing program that links many of its core brands under a single umbrella campaign.

In her new position, Rahman will lead the ethnic marketing and external relations department in building volumes and a positive image for Kraft products among ethnic consumers. Advertising, co-marketing, sales planning, public relations, product ethnicity, and business development will all play a part in a new campaign, says senior vp-marketing services Paula Sneed.
