InfoUSA, Omaha, NE, has hired Tim Hoffman as its chief accounting officer and assistant chief financial officer, a newly created position. Hoffman will coordinate the daily finance and accounting activities at infoUSA.
He will also assist Stormy Dean, the current CFO, until a new CFO is hired. Dean is leaving infoUSA on Oct. 21 to pursue a political career. Dean ran unsuccessfully for governor of Nebraska in 2002.
Hoffman has been with infoUSA since 1996 in a variety of accounting positions, including CFO of Donnelley Marketing and director of internal audit.
