Hawaiian Punch hits the highways this summer to push its new flavors in 18 cities across the country.
The Hawaiian Punch Clownin’ Around tour uses converted ice cream trucks to attract urban hip-hoppers to sample its new flavors—Bodacious Berry, ‘Mazin Melon Mix and Green Berry Rush. A 2,000-watt sound system playing hip hop and rap music sets the stage for urban dance competitions, trivia contests and special rap-off events that round out the program. Premium giveaways include branded visors, basketball jerseys, wristbands, lanyard key chains, posters and echo microphones.
Supporting the May through August tour is a national sweepstakes that consumers can enter through Sept. 15 for a chance to win a trip for two to have lunch with hip-hop artist Mario. Participants can enter at www.hpclowninaround.com. Hawaiian Punch is a brand of Plano, TX-based Dr Pepper/Seven Up.
The tour hits Atlanta; Birmingham, AL; Charlotte, NC; Chicago; Cincinnati; Cleveland; Dallas; Denver; Detroit; Houston; Jackson, MS; Los Angeles; Memphis, TN; New Orleans; New York City; Philadelphia; Phoenix and San Antonio, TX.
