FreeShop.com, Inc., Seattle, an Internet opt-in marketing network, has acquired Minnesota-based Worldwide Brochures, an online travel brochure directory service. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Worldwide Brochures operates a Web site (http://www.wwb.com) that provides 15,000 brochures to prospective travelers. FreeShop will absorb all Worldwide Brochures employees into its operations, and will continue operating out of Minnesota.
