Edith Roman Associates Inc., Pearl River, NY, has been chosen to manage the 2.9-million-name Egghead.com newsletter program list. All the people identified on the list have opted in to receive information on product offerings.
Participants in the program display their personalized text message at the top of Egghead.com’s daily e-mail newsletter, which includes a hyperlink to a Web page or order form. Each recipient receives at least two messages a week. The program costs $40 per thousand including transmission of the message.
These e-mail recipients buy personal computers, laptop computers, Macintosh or Windows software, electronics and other types of products with credit cards, according to Edith Roman.
