DTour Live Back in Simon Malls, Women’s Tour Debuts

This month, Simon Malls has launched marketing events targeting teens and women: Simon DTour Life is a fusion of teen music and brands and Simon Mall for You is a tour about relaxation, fashion and rejuvenation for women.

Simon DTour Live visits 25 Simon Malls nationwide with on-site entertainment, events and contests sponsored by brands, including top sponsor Visa Buxx, as well as Coca-Cola and ELLEgirl magazine, among others. The tour launches this week in New York and will run through Oct. 16 in Seattle. Singing sensations Ashlee Simpson, Cherie and Ryan Cabrera will perform throughout the tour that gives teens fun interactive ways to check out the latest fashions, games and tech goodies.

Simon Mall for You is a new women’s escape marketing program that incorporates targeted brand sponsorships with interactive pavilions and speakers in topics of interest to busy women who want to take a break from their hectic lifestyles. The 10-stop tour brings activities such as spa facials and fashion tips along with mini massages, all sponsored by Diet Coke, Self magazine and Cotton Incorporated. The tour launches Aug. 20 in Boston and concludes Oct. 24 with its final stop in Orange County, CA.

Alloy Marketing and Promotions (AMP) is providing technical and production support for both promotions. Simon will support both events with radio, print, peer-to-peer viral marketing, e-mail blasts and Simon and partner Web sites.
