The Direct Marketing Association board of directors has selected Herschell Gordon Lewis and Fredrick J. Simon to be inducted into the DMA Hall of Fame.
Lewis has authored numerous books on copywriting and direct marketing, including “Copywriting Secrets and Tactics,” “Direct Marketing Strategies and Tactics” and “Herschell Gordon Lewis On the Art of Writing Copy.”
He writes a regular column, “Curmudgeon-at-Large,” for Direct magazine, and the “Better Letters” column for Selling magazine. He is the copy columnist for Catalog Age.
Lewis has taught graduate classes at the Mass Communications program at Roosevelt University for 22 years. He is a frequent speaker at workshop leader at industry events in the U.S. and around the world.
