DMA Board Picks Eisen as Treasurer

The Direct Marketing Association’s board of directors has tapped board member Glenn S. Eisen to serve as its treasurer. While the DMA had not formally announced his new position at deadline, a DMA Web site page lists him as treasurer.

Eisen is executive vice president of direct marketing for Guthy-Renker LLC, a consumer products direct marketer.

The treasurer position opened when Eugene R. Raitt resigned as DMA board chair and David S. Williams stepped down from his position of vice chair (http://directmag.com/news/dma-chair-vice-board-seat-open-0512/). Raitt has also resigned from the board. Williams remains on it.

G. Steven Dapper, chairman and founder of marketing communications agency Hawkeye, was named DMA board chair earlier this week. Dapper had been the organization’s treasurer.

Don McKenzie, CEO of Direct Group, a direct marketing services provider, was named vice chair at the same time Dapper was selected.

In a separate development, the DMAhas teamed up with 4IT Group, an Italian company, to develop an affiliate direct marketing trade group in Italy.
