Deutsche Post will acquire Italian parcel service Casa di Spedizioni Ascoli S.p.A in an effort to expand southward, according to news reports.
The Frankfurt postal and delivery giant is also winding up negotiations to acquire the remaining stake it does not already own of British parcel service Securicor Distribution.
