Reader’s Digest Association, Inc., has named Dawn Zier vice president and circulation director for Reader’s Digest, its flagship publication. Zier had previously been vice president of circulation marketing.
In her new position, Zier is responsible for marketing, fulfillment, planning and managing the circulation of the company’s special interest magazines including The Family Handyman, American Woodworker, Selecciones and Reader’s Digest Large Print. She will report to Eric Schrier, senior vice president and global editor in chief and president of U.S. Magazines.
During the 12 months ended June 30, the U.S. Magazines division generated $626.6 million of the company’s $2.37 billion in revenue, and $80.7 million of its $157.7 million operating profit. Reader
