CompUSA Offers Students a Ride Back to Campus

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

CompUSA targets returning college students with its in-store back-to-school sweeps.

The “Free Ride Sweepstakes” dangles a grand-prize 2005 Honda Element LX or one year of college tuition (up to $20,000). There will be 26 grand-prize winners, one nationally and one in each of 25 markets across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Secondary prizes—800 of them—are mountain bikes and messenger bags. Students 18 and older enter in-store or via CompUSA.com. The sweeps runs in CompUSA’s 240 stores July 24 through Aug. 13 via Schroepfer Wessels Jolesch, Dallas.
