Shopping Habits Do Prepared Home Meal purchasers leave the supermarket with a couple of carts crammed to the rims with goodies? Not so, says New York City-based Meyers Research Center. Apparently what purchasers of Prepared Home Meals buy are items associated with the home meal. This may indicate there are opportunities beyond main meals (e.g. desserts, salads, beverages) for retailers in their fight against fast food outlets and restaurants.
