CDC Software Corp., will acquire Truition Inc., an on-demand e-commerce platform provider. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The acquisition opens up the business-to-consumer market for CDC Software, according to a company statement. The acquisition is expected to close within the next two weeks.

Truition, which was founded in 1998 in Toronto, includes Sirius XM Satellite Radio, Dell Financial Services, Fujitsu, Philips, Major League Baseball, Wolford, Genco, American Airlines, the National Football League, the National Basketball Association, Sears, Starwood United Airlines and the National Hockey League among the 150+ clients that take advantage of its software-as-a-service e-commerce offerings.

Last quarter, CDC Software completed the acquisition of WKD Solutions Ltd., a provider of supply chain event management solutions marketed under the brand Categoric. Earlier his month, CDC Software completed the acquisition of Activplant, an enterprise manufacturing intelligence solution provider.

CDC Software has also announced its plans to acquire a yet-unnamed software-as-a-service solutions provider in the non-profit market.
