Catalina Marketing Corp. of St. Petersburg, FL, has sold its research division for undisclosed terms to Schulman, Ronca & Bucuvalas Inc. (SRBI), a New York based market research firm.
This latest divestiture follows the recent sale of Catalina Marketing’s direct mail division and two other divisions.
“The conclusion of this business deal is in alignment with the long-term growth and profitability plan established for Catalina Marketing,” said Dick Buell, chief executive officer in a prepared statement.
Catalina Marketing is expected to continue to develop behavior-based promotional and loyalty programs for retail partners and other firms.
