Carter Promotions Merges with Target Marketing Group

Promotional products company Carter Promotions has merged with the Target Marketing Group, a distributor of promotional products.

Target Marketing Group, which expects to increase sales by $3 million to a total $20 million in 2006, has embroidery operations, warehouse and fulfillment services and a sales promotion agency. The merger strengthens Target Marketing Group’s presence in the Southeast and it joins forces with Atlanta-based Carter Promotions.

Carter Promotions was founded in 1975. Target Marketing Group just turned 20 years old and was founded by the company’s president and CEO John Leahy. The firm employs 60 and has offices in three locations on the East Coast in addition to its headquarters in Owings Mills, MD. It also has personnel is 10 other locations around the country.
