Campbell Soup, Super Suppers Dish Up Sweeps
Campbell Soup Co. stars in an October sweepstakes with meal-assembly service Super Suppers.
Campbell’s Cream of Chicken soup is an ingredient in Campbell’s Cheesy Chicken & Rice Casserole, one of the menu items featured this month at Super Supper’s studio-kitchens, where consumers assemble six to 12 family-sized entrees to take home.
Fort Worth, TX-based Super Supper provides recipes and ingredients; its roster for October includes the Campbell’s-branded casserole. To support the tie-in, Campbell and Super Suppers will run a month-long Supper’s On Us sweepstakes awarding a grand prize of a year’s worth of meals (12 entrees each month), with one first-prize package of Campbell’s cookware, cook books and Warhol-inspired mugs, bowls and serving tray.
Consumers enter at one of Super Supper’s 270 franchised locations in 40 states, or online. Super Suppers supports the sweeps in-store, via its monthly e-mail newsletter and on its site.
Campbell’s supports the tie-in with an Oct. 15 newspaper ad, messaging in its Campbell’s Meal Mail weekly e-mail newsletter, and on its cooking-themed site CampbellKitchen.com.
“The Super Suppers experience creates a unique opportunity for Campbell’s to deliver brand and product information to consumers involved in meal preparation,” says Jennifer Hartley, Campbell Senior Brand Manager for Red & White, in a statement.
Marden-Kane, Manhasset, NY, administers the sweeps for Super Suppers, which handles the promotion in-house.
