The Bank of America is offering NASCAR fans a shot at being Honorary Grand Marshal at its upcoming sponsored race in Charlotte, N.C.
Fans can enter the contest to be Honorary Grand Marshal for the Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Oct. 13 by visiting any Charlotte-area Bank of America branch by Oct. 1 to pick up an entry form. People were also able to enter on-site at the Food Lion AutoFair at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on Sept. 15.
A celebrity panel of judges will confer the honorary title, which will include the opportunity for the winner and a guest to ride in the pace car at the start of the race.
They’ll also receive pit passes, seats in an exclusive fan section, the Turn 4 Club, access to a private food court, food and beverage vouchers and a gift pack of Bank of America 500 merchandise.
“NASCAR’s fans hold a special place in their hearts for Charlotte and the Bank of America 500, and their campaign is meant to recognize that incredible loyalty,” said Ray Bednar, global sponsorship marketing executive for Bank of America, in a statement.
Bank of America will offer 1,000 customers, clients and associates seats in its Turn 4 Club for the race, along with NASCAR merchandise.
Bank of America is now offering customers NASCAR-branded checks, check card and credit cards with a rewards systems that awards points redeemable for NASCAR merchandise when they write checks or use the cards.
