Avon Names William Susetka New President, Global Marketing

Avon Products Inc. has named William F. Susetka as president, global marketing, effective Jan. 2, 2002.

Susetka will have responsibility for all of Avon’s global marketing functions, including research and development and advertising, as well as marketing research and strategy for Avon’s global direct selling beauty brands, the company said.

He will report to Susan J. Kropf, president and COO.

Susetka, age 48, worked most recently for Clairol Inc., where since 1999, he has been president, US Consumer Business. From 1996 to 1999, he was president, Clairol International. He joined Clairol in 1975 and held a series of increasingly responsible positions, mainly in marketing and general management.

Avon has $5.7 billion in annual revenues.
