Abacus, the catalog database cooperative, has formed Abacus France.
The company will be based in Lille, France, and plans to provide French catalogue companies with systems for driving and improving the profitability of direct marketing initiatives.
Abacus France will be headed up by Didier Farge, a veteran French direct marketer and former president of the European section of the SNCD (Syndicat National de la Communication Directe).
