WorldSpy to Swap Subscribers for Juno Common Stock

Under the agreement, WorldSpy, a provider of free Internet access service that ceased operations June 30, will refer its subscribers to Juno’s free Internet access service. In return, WorldSpy will receive compensation in the form of Juno common stock for each former subscriber who becomes a Juno subscriber. The referral period lasts three months.

When WorldSpy went out of business, it had more than 260,000 subscribers, according to a statement. as of June 2000. With 3 million subscribers as of March 31, Juno is the nation’s third-largest provider of dial-up Internet services, after AOL and EarthLink.

Media Products Debuts Package Insert Program for E-tailers Atlanta-based Response Media Products Inc., is debuting e-Value guides, which will contain company advertisements.

The guides will be inserted in the packages sent to consumers who purchased online. Approximately half a million guides are to be distributed each quarter.

Participating companies include Daytimer.com, PlanetRx.com and OmahaSteaks.com.
