Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

World Color Press, Inc., Greenwich, CT, has entered into a purchase agreement to acquire Infiniti Graphics, Inc., a Connecticut-based commercial printer.

Infiniti had revenues of over $20 million in 1998. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Infiniti currently produces over 1 billion pieces of printed material per year including brochures, booklets, inserts, reply cards, and magazine reprints. Infiniti has invested significantly in equipment over the last several years, which has helped solidify already strong relationships with customers such as Advo, American Express Publishing, Conde Nast, Grolier, Westvaco, and Ziff-Davis, many of which already use World Color for complementary printing services.

World Color specializes in the production and distribution of data for customers in the commercial, magazine, catalog, book, direct mail and directory markets.
