Williams-Sonoma Earnings Fall Nearly 12%

Williams-Sonoma Inc. reported net earnings of $23.1 million for the first quarter, down 11.7% from $26.2 million last year.

The cataloger and retailer reported net revenue of $794.3 million for the quarter ended April 30, up 10.2% from $720.7 million last year.

The San Francisco company reported direct-to-consumer revenue of $360 million for the quarter, up 11.4% from $323.5 million last year.
