Tshibangu To Join Liberty Life Insurance
Judith Tshibangu, a 20-year direct marketing veteran, will join Liberty Life Insurance Co., Greenville, SC, on Feb. 1 as the head of its LibertyDirect business unit.
Tshibangu had been vice president of marketing and planning at Prudential Insurance Co.’s retail business unit. Previously, she was chief marketing officer for Prudential’s American Association of Retired Persons operations. Prior to joining Prudential in 1994, she was vice president of Cigna Cos.’ special marketing division.
LibertyDirect was created last year to market optional mortgage products. It now has business relationships with more than 1,000 financial institutions, including 12 of the top 15 mortgage servicers. LibertyDirect recently began marketing value-added products and services to the utilities industry.
