The Knot Offers Vacation Getaway Through Watch-and-Win Sweeps

Wedding planning company, The Knot, has partnered with Who Wants To Be A Millionaire for a special wedding edition of the hit game show, in which viewers can join the fun by entering a sweepstakes to win a trip to St. Lucia.

The five-episode Play to Pay For Your Wedding edition will air Feb. 7 through Feb. 11 featuring engaged couples vying to win $1 million to help pay for their weddings. Several contestants that will appear on-air are members of TheKnot.com. Couples will play as a team and can discuss questions before agreeing on their final answer.

Featured couples will receive one of many prizes on behalf of Millionaire and partners of The Knot, including a $2,500 Kohl’s gift certificate, a Swarovski-encrusted ball gown from designer Henry Roth, a 1-carat, three-stone diamond ring by Leo Schachter from Kay Jewelers and 12 five-piece place settings and serving pieces from Grand Central Dinnerware from Lenox.

The Knot, one of the largest wedding-planning information resources, is giving home viewers a chance to win a six-day, seven-night vacation to the new Coco Palm Resort on St. Lucia through its Escape to St. Lucia Sweepstakes via a watch-and win contest.

Each day of the special airing, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire host Meredith Vieira will ask a wedding-themed sweepstakes question on-air. Starting Feb. 7, viewers can log on to TheKnot.com/millionaire to enter their answer for a chance to win the vacation getaway.

The sweepstakes is open to viewers 18 and older and ends Feb. 11. Up to five entries per person/e-mail address will be accepted. The winner will be selected in a random drawing on Feb. 15.
