Specialists Marketing Eyes Conference Business

Specialists Marketing Services Inc. is seeking to expand its footprint in the conferences and events industry by launching a package of data services for promoting sales of exhibitor space and increasing attendee registrations.

“We have found in working with event companies they have specialized needs, and the event services suite provides a comprehensive solutions for those specific event business needs,” said Peter Candito, vice president of the business-to-business division at Specialists, in a statement.

The company is offering database services for e-mail and postal lists geared for event producers, including list acquisition and management; database development, list maintenance, creative review; list segmentation and list strategies services.

The services are intended to help event marketers increase revenues generated from attendee and exhibitor databases.

While none of these services are new for Specialists, what is new is the company’s push to expand in this sector. Specialists has previously provided such services in whole or part to existing clients in the events promotions business.
