Shop At Home Inc., Nashville, TN, said its TV-shopping network set a new daily sales record on Sunday. The network posted $1.434 million in call-in sales, surpassing the previous record by almost 25%. During the same day, the network also set a new hourly sales record of $378,000 in call-in sales and a new overnight record of $753,000 in call-in sales between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Experian, Orange, CA, has introduced two software packages for managing credit risk. On the front end, Experian Credit Advisor improves credit decision-making by streamlining credit application and review processes. On the back end, Experian Account Advisor enables user management of an entire portfolio — up to 50,000 business credit accounts — permitting the user to identify performance trends and track debt. Both are in Windows 95 and NT formats.

The American Teleservices Association, formerly the American Telemarketing Association, has released its 1998-99 ATA Compensation Analysis, which contains over 100 pages of data on salary information on 11 call-center titles, with nine regional breakdowns and specific findings from two urban centers.
